Mildred Josephine "Millie" Schmiade
Mildred “Millie” Schmiade, age 76 of Morning View, KY, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2017. Millie was born in Independence, KY, to John and Mildred Folmer. She was a homemaker and enjoyed being involved in the Parent Teacher Organization and volunteering in the community. Millie is preceded in death by her loving husband, Joe Schmiade Sr. and her parents. She is survived by her sons: Joe (Mary Jo) Jr., John, Bill (Barb), and Tony (Roxann) Schmiade, sisters: Judy Heeger and Norma Coots, and 10 grandchildren. A visitation for Millie will be held on Sunday, March 19, 2017, at Chambers & Grubbs Independence, from 3 to 6 PM. A mass of Christian burial will take place on Monday, March 20, 2017 at St. Cecilia Church at 12 noon. Burial will follow in the Independence Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made payable to the Spinal Bifida Coalition of Cincinnati, 644 Linn St. Suite 635, Cincinnati OH, 45203; and the Arthritis Foundation, 7124 Miami Ave Ste A, Cincinnati, OH 45243.
