Regina “Gina” Mae Piercefield, of Morning View, KY passed away suddenly at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at the age of 54.

She was born in Paris, KY on July 26, 1962; the daughter of Alton and Lois Piercefield. Gina enjoyed farming on the Smith Farm, playing Bingo and participating in the Backwood Auction. Her greatest joy, however, was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Gina was preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her significant other of 22 years, Kenny L. Smith, Sr.; children, Kenny Lee Smith, Jr., Ashley (Brian) Beckham, Alicia Piercefield and Aaron Sandlin; her mother, Lois Piercefield; brother, Darrel (Dary” Piercefield; grandchildren, Paul “Bubba”, Ashley, Kendall, Colton, Skylar, Harper and Sadie; as well as other relatives and friends.

Visitation for Gina will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 PM on Monday, March 13, 2017 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Burial will immediately follow at Independence Cemetery.
