Connie Mae Black Clinkenbeard, age 82, of Walton, passed away Friday, February 17, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ft. Thomas. She was a homemaker and a member of Walton Christian Church. Connie loved animals and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Her husband, Everett Samuel Clinkenbeard; and siblings Denver Black, Carl Black, and Betty Chipman preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Mark Clinkenbeard (Melissa); daughter, Sherry Clinkenbeard Smith (Cory); and grandchildren; Molly Clinkenbeard, Matt Clinkenbeard, Zachary Clinkenbeard, Travis Smith, Taylor Smith, and Avery Smith; siblings, Meb Black and Gail Roberts (Jimmy).

Visitation will be Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs in Walton. Funeral services will be Friday, February 24, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Walton Christian Church, 50 South Main St., Walton, KY 41094.

Memorials may be made to the church.
