Ford Robinson, Jr. of Florence, KY passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence at the age of 86.

He was born on November 22, 1930 in Manchester KY; the son of Ford and Marie Robinson, Sr. Ford worked as an Inside Truck Driver for General Motors and enjoyed being outdoors-whether that was hunting or just plain yardwork. His greatest joy, however, was spending time with his family and friends.

Ford was preceded in death by his sons, Donald Robinson and Gary Lee Robinson and sister, Betty Ruth. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Lillian Robinson; daughter, Michelle (Tim) Ireland; granddaughter, Holly Ireland; as well as other relatives and friends.

Visitation for Ford will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. A funeral service will be held the following day, Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Independence Cemetery.
