Mary Elizabeth (Riddle) Abney, age 83, of Covington, passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence. She was a housewife for her husband and seven children and a member of Berean Baptist Church in Independence. Mary’s hobbies included cooking, gardening and cheering on Cincinnati Reds.

She is preceded in death by her daughters, Eva Mae Adams and Deborah Lynn Stuart. She is survived by her five children, Dillard S. Abney, Wanda (Ron) Young, Michael S. Abney, Theresa Abney, and Judith (Michael) Nussbaum; siblings, Albert Riddle, Ronnie Riddle, Judy Riddle, and Bobby Riddle; 23 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

A visitation for Mary will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 10AM, until the time of the funeral service, 12PM, at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Walton.

Interment will be at Independence Cemetery.
