INDEPENDENCE - John William Ivey, age 61, died Saturday, January 9, 2010 at his residence. He was a Crane Operator for Parsec, Inc. in Cincinnati and a member of the Local Teamsters. Mr. Ivey also enjoyed camping with his family. Survivors include his wife, Darline Mae Groger Ivey; (3) sons, Keith W. Ivey and Gregory A. Ivey of Independence, and Kevin R. Ivey of Walton; (2) sisters, Sandy Baird of Taylor Mill and Bonnie Ivey of Independence; brother, Roger Ivey of Independence; and (7) grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Chambers and Grubbs in Independence. Funeral services will begin at 12 noon. Interment will be at Floral Hills Cemetery.
