David Applegate, of Walton, KY passed away at his residence on Monday, June 5, 2017 at the age of 70. He was born in Lewis County, KY on September 5, 1946; to the late Ancil and Thelma Applegate.

David retired from CSX Railroad as a Carman. He enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in death by his children Alicia Bauer and Stephen Applegate.

He is survived by his children; Cindy Richards, Melissa Richards, Monica Abbott, and Michael Abbott; siblings, Alice Swagger, Rodger Applgate, and Ann Blencowe; 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
