Doris Iola (Houston) Browning, age 92, of Erlanger, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Baptist Village Care Center.

She was born to the late Ben and Belda (Cline) Houston on March 9, 1925 in Pendleton County. Doris worked as a book keeper for the Pepsi Cola Company and was a member of First Church of Christ. She enjoyed playing bingo, dancing, spending time with her family and in her younger years going out with her girlfriends.

Doris touched all who knew her and would help anyone who was in need. She had pleasure in making people laugh and smile. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sons, Tony Browning and Randy Browning.

She is survived by her sons, Joseph “Bud” and daughter-in-law, Sharon Browning and Steve Browning; daughter, Jo Ellen Barnard; grandchildren, Mike (Russann) Hankins, Mark Hankins, Jamie (Casey) Musgrave, Brennan Browning, Nick (Liz) Browning, Jamie Beagle and Katie Beagle; and 7 great-grandchildren.
