Daniel Lee ""Dan""  Webster
Daniel Lee Webster, age 63, of Independence, KY, passed away on Friday, May 6th at his home in Taylor Mill, KY.

Daniel “Dan” Webster was born in Covington, Kentucky, November 6, 1953 to Howard and Julie (Santa) Webster and was later adopted by Leslie and Catherine Kees of Independence. Daniel graduated from Simon Kenton High School and RETTS Electronic School. He worked as a bio-medical technician for The Christ Hospital and also served as the supervisor of their clinical engineering department. Daniel was a beloved member of Nicholson Christian Church where he served on many committees and volunteered countless hours. Known for his intellect and wit, he loved science, electronics, cooking, playing his guitar and spending time with his granddaughter.

Daniel is preceded in death by his birth parents, Howard and Julie Webster; adopted parents, Leslie and Catherine Kees; sisters, Anita and Debby Webster and brothers, Howard and Paul Douglas Webster.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Angie Gillespie; sisters, Judith Wainscott and Rebecca Luck; brother, Bobby Webster; granddaughter, Emma Gillespie and nieces Lesley Wainscott and Tonya Robbins.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Nina Mendoza MD and David Cline (The Christ Hospital Kidney and Hypertension), Rino Munda MD (Christ Hospital), The Hospice of the Bluegrass, Annie Brandenburg (The Atria Highland Crossing) Heidi Brandenburg & Manny Rodriquez (Davita Dialysis, Edgewood) and all of the family and friends that have been an active part of his life.

Visitation will be held at Chamber’s and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence, KY on Friday, May 12th from 11AM-1PM. A funeral service will begin at 1PM.Burial to follow. Burial will be at the Independence Cemetery.
