Daniel Louis Ficke, of Elsmere, KY passed away after a brief illness at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY at the age of 61.

He was born in Ft. Thomas, KY on December 21, 1955; the son of Richard and Virginia Ficke. Daniel worked in maintenance at St. Elizabeth Hospitals and loved to garden and play guitar and make music.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Christina Ferguson and brother, Mark Allen Ficke. Daniel is survived by his sister, Francie Halderman; brother, Mike (Yvonne) Ficke; nieces, Shelly and Andrea; nephews, Andy, Matthew and Michael; 2 great-nieces; 1 great-nephew; as well as other relatives and friends.

A graveside service for Daniel will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
