Obituary for Hripsime Sarian
Hripsime “Arpy” Sousani Sarian, of Florence, KY passed away at her residence on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the age of 70.
Arpy was born in Aleppo, Syria to the late Levon and Serpouhi B. Sahaguian, and immigrated to the US in 1973 where she was a long-time member of St. Gregory Armenian Apostolic Church of Granite City, IL until moving to Kentucky in 2009. Arpy enjoyed Armenian cooking, baking, entertaining, sewing, traveling, and home interior fashion.
Arpy is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Garabed “Garo” Sarian; children, Caroline Sarian Meisel of St. Louis, Bedros Sarian of Florence, Christine Sarian of Florence, Shant Sarian of NYC; grandchildren, Tommy, Lauren, Luke, Landon, and Nicholas; siblings, Jano Sousani of Fresno, Calif and the late Sylva Momjian of Los Angeles; and niece, Deanna Momjian of Los Angeles.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
