Reece Junior Fightmaster, of Independence, KY passed away peacefully at Woodcrest Manor in Elsmere, KY on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at the age of 91.

He was born on October 2, 1925 in Elsmere, KY; the son of Stella Wallingford. Reece enjoyed watching TV, especially UK basketball, and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Beulah; son, George; and sister, Violet Penick.

Reece is survived by his daughter, Janice Cain; sons, Jerry (Peg) Fightmaster, Greg (Betty) Fightmaster and Leslie (Barbara) Fightmaster; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends.

Visitation for Reece will be held from 4:30 PM until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 PM on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence. Burial will take place the following day, Friday, March 3, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, KY.
