Obituary for Earl Clark
Earl T. Clark, age 92 of Walton, KY, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016. Earl was retired from Ford Motor Company as an inspector. He was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church and a US Army WWII veteran. Earl enjoyed fishing, gardening and traveling and was a member of the UAW Local #863.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, of 62 years, Joan, son, Douglas Clark, grandson, Scott Baxter, parents, John and Bessie Clark, and sister, Helen Lancaster. Earl is survived by sons; Mark Clark (Diana), Steve Clark (Linda), and Dan Clark (Bev), grandchildren; David Clark, Tim Clark (Lesley), Rob Clark (Marcie), Tom Clark (Maria), Sarah Wieland (Joey), Dustin, Lori and Olivia Clark, 12 great-grandchildren, and sisters, Mary Jane Klein and Wanda Hale.
Services for Earl will be held at Chambers & Grubbs Independence on Tuesday, January 3, 2017. Visitation will be from 11-1 PM with the funeral service immediately following at 1 PM. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery.
Memorial donations are suggested to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or St. Elizabeth Hospice, 483 S. Loop Road, Edgewood, KY 41017.
