Obituary for Freddie Juanita Kennedy
Freddie Juanita Kennedy, of Covington, KY passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, November 14, 2016 at the age of 94.
She was born in Kenvir, KY on February 5, 1922; the daughter of Fred and Ester Troutman. Juanita worked in sales for Meijer and was a member of Community Family Church in Independence, KY. She enjoyed bowling, ceramics, baking banana bread and gardening flowers in her yard. Her greatest joy, however, was spending time with her family.
Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Boss Kennedy Jr., sister, Wilma Gilbert and brothers, Alvin Farley and John Farley. She is survived by her only child, Carolyn (Lee) Glover; grandchildren, Angela (Steve) Richards, Daniel (Aimee) Glover, Dennis (Kristin) Glover, Jessica Warren, Clay Ennis, Mariah Glover and Molly Biery; great-grandchildren, Hayden Roberts, Lewie Richards, Isla Richards, Samantha Glover, Ronni Glover, Ashley Glover, Daven Glover, Logan Warren, Eli Warren and Madelynn Warren, as well as other relatives and friends.
Visitation for Juanita will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Community Family Church, 11875 Taylor Mill Rd, Independence, KY 41051. A funeral service will take place the following day, Friday, November 18, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will immediately follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45232.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Juanita’s name can be made to Wreaths for KVCN, P.O. Box 75, Williamstown, KY 41097 and/or Community Family Church Youth, 11875 Taylor Mill Rd, Independence, KY 41051.
