Obituary for Henry Edward Hornsby, Jr.
Henry Edward Hornsby Jr., age 68 of Independence KY, passed away on Thursday, November 3rd, 2016 at his home.
He was the son of the late Henry Edward Hornsby Sr. and Pauline Howard. Henry enjoyed carpentry and spending time with his family. He was a former Sargent at Kenton County Jail, a job he took great pride in.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Alta Hornsby, his three sons, Henry III and Matthew Hornsby, and Robert Fancher; three brothers, Alan, Robert, John Hornsby, Kathy Mains, and Mary Lynn Straub; eleven grandchildren; Andrew, Jameson, Rex, Madelyn, Emma, and Macy Hornsby, Amberly Gulley, Kaitlyn Geiske, Seth and Caleb Fancher, and Salim Mardis. He is preceded in death by his parents. A Memorial service will be held privately by the family.
