Jacqueline Rae Cooper Howard, age 80, of Louisville, KY (formerly of Independence, KY), passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Baptist Health Louisville. She was a retired Clerk for KY Farm Bureau’s corporate office in Louisville, KY and was a member of Bashford Manor Baptist Church. Her brothers, Ernest Cooper, Jr., Paul Cooper, Charles Cooper, and Curtis Cooper preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband (of over 60 years), Thomas Jefferson Howard; son, Mark Thomas Howard; sister, Marilyn Vaughn (Mike); brothers, Bob Cooper and David Cooper (Jenny); grandsons, Matthew Thomas Howard (Bridget) and Chad Phillip Howard; and great grandchildren, Penelope Jane Howard, Camron James Howard, and Logan Jefferson Howard. Visitation will be Friday, October 28, 2016 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. The funeral service will be Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Independence Cemetery.
