Mary Anna Kissinger, of Walton, KY passed away surrounded by her loving family at her residence on Friday, July 8, 2016 at the age of 67.

She was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 23, 1948; the daughter of John and Cora Young. Mary was a retired worker for the State of Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services and was a 28+ year member of Community Family Church. She enjoyed Senior Center activities with her friends and spending time with her Delta family of co-workers. Mary also enjoyed traveling, running the cameras at her church and looking for “deals” wherever and whenever she could. Her greatest joy, however, was spending with her family and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Ron Kissinger; son, Tom (Clyda) Kissinger; daughters, Cora (Darrell) Meader and Mary (Jason) Kissinger-Winstel; brother, John (Wanda) Young; sister, Eileen Young and Margaret (Walter) Fugate; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; as well as other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation for Mary will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Community Family Church, 11875 Taylor Mill Rd, Independence, KY 41051. A funeral service will be held the following day, Friday, July 15, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will immediately follow at Floral Hills Cemetery.
