Ralph F. Jump, 81 of Dry Ridge passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, June, 23, 2016. He was retired from Stewart-Decatur Iron Works where he worked as a draftsman and was formerly employed at Con Quip and as a Bus Driver for Grant County Schools. He enjoyed gardening, westerns, and was a member of Berean Baptist Church . Ralph is preceded in death by 3 sisters, 2 brothers, and his grandson Joshua Jump. He is survived by his loving wife Jean Riley Jump; his children Dianna Combs (Don), Michael Jump (Paula), Steven Jump (Sheila), Kevin Jump (Laurelle), and Keith Jump; sister Cora McMahan; grandchildren Larissa Feltz (Adam), Tyler Jump, Stevie Huff (Michael), Christopher Jump (Terry Lynn), Makaela Jump, Nathaniel Jump, Jenna Jump, Donny Combs (Tonya), and Annette O’Nan (Chris); great-grandchildren Madelyn Wilson, Jude Huff, Oliver Huff, Jayden Kelly, Aubrey Kelly, Derrick O’Nan, Justis Combs, and Morgan Combs; great-great grandchild Leland O’Nan; sister-in-law Bonnie Bishop (Michael); and many other family and friends who will miss him dearly. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2016 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Services will be on Monday, June 27, 2016 at 10 a.m. also at the funeral home.
