Robert L. Kirk
Robert L. Kirk, 73 of Independence, KY., passed away Saturday, June 04, 2016. Bob was a retired assembly line worker for General Motors. His hobbies included, playing guitar, fishing, watching the Cincinnati Reds and UK Basketball teams, as well as he enjoyed doing yardwork. Bob is preceded in death by his brothers; Charles, David and Jack Kirk (Peg) and sisters; Lois Ann Hall (Doug) and Aileen Houston. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Phyllis Kirk, a devoted son; Ron Kirk (Pam), grandsons; Scotty Kirk (Audrey) and Shawn Kirk, great-grandson; Liam Kirk and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Chambers & Grubbs Independence on Tuesday, June 7, 2016. Visitation will be from 10:30 AM till 12:30 PM with the funeral service immediately following. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the American Heart Association, Greater Cincinnati Chapter, 5211 Madison Rd., Cincinnati, OH. 45227.
