Bobby Lee Isaacs, age 86, of Walton, KY, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Woodcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Elsmere, KY. He was a retired Assembly Worker for Ford Motor Company, a member of Nicholson Christian Church, a U.S. Army Veteran, and a member of the Moon Brothers American Legion Post 275 in Independence, KY.

Mr. Isaacs enjoyed gardening, U.K. basketball, and spending time with his grandchildren. He previously taught Sunday School for Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church in Ryland Heights, KY for 32 years. His sister, Vala Kilburn preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Dianah Taylor Isaacs; daughter, Jennifer Isaacs Elliott; siblings, Bernice Booth, Virginia Anthe, Shirley Rucker, Paul Donald Isaacs, Finley Isaacs, Jr., and Buddy Isaacs; grandson, Tanner Elliott; and granddaughter, Hunter Elliott.

Visitation will be Monday, May 9, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon with services immediately following at noon at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Interment with military honors will be at Independence Cemetery.
