Joyce Ann Thompson, of Erlanger, KY passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood on Friday, January 15, 2016 at the age of 74. She was born on September, 7, 1941 to the late William and Nancy Thompson.

Joyce worked as a house keeper for Children’s Hospital in past years. She enjoyed collecting angel and butterfly figurines, but most of all, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Ada Fields, brothers, Billy and Cliff Thompson, grandson Franklin Bell III, and great-grandson, Micah Gibson.

Joyce is survived by her children, Janet (Randall) Presley, Linda (Mike) Rigney, Sandy (Jeff) Wilson, Teonia (Ronald) Davis, and Jamie (Wanda) Thompson; sisters Kay Redman, Peggy Ward, and Betty Howard; 22 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

A visitation for Joyce will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 1PM until the time of the Funeral Service, 3PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Interment will be at Burlington Cemetery.
