Wilda Vandiver, of Erlanger, KY passed away at Baptist Village Care Center on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at the age of 91.

She was born on June 15, 1924 in Blacksburg, VA to Roy and Lola Walker. Wilda was a retired letter reviewer for the IRS and was a member at Oak Ridge Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing cards and Bingo, cooking, gardening, reading and taking mission trips. Wilda loved the Cincinnati Reds and enjoyed softball, even continuing to play into her 70’s.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Vandiver and son, Robert “Bobby” Vandiver. Wilda is survived by her daughter, Donna (Tony) Merkle; sons, William (Betty) Vandiver, J. Daniel (Marcia) Vandiver and David Vandiver; daughter-in-law, Mary Vandiver; brother, Bill Walker; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; as well as other relatives and many friends.

Visitation for Wilda will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Oak Ridge Baptist Church, 6056 Taylor Mill Road, Covington, KY 41015. Burial will immediately follow at Independence Cemetery.
