Obituary for Cecil William Osborn, Sr.
Cecil William Osborn, age 95, of Ft. Wright, KY, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. He was a retired Auto Upholsterer, a member of Main Street Baptist Church in Florence, a U.S. Navy WWII Veteran, and a former boy scout. Mr. Osborn enjoyed traveling, bowling, and watching his favorite teams, the Reds, Bengals, and U.K.
His first wife Ora Violette Osborn, second wife, Ardella Osborn, five sisters, and a brother, all preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughter, Nancy (Mike) Kern, son, Cecil “Butch” (Barbara) Osborn, seven grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 1, 2015, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Florence with a service immediately following at 12:30 p.m. Interment with military honors will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Erlanger.
