Catherine Mae Zimmerman (nee Gilpin), of Florence, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. She was a house wife, farmer and an account manager for American Sign. Catherine was a member of Union Baptist Church and enjoyed golf, gardening, reading and camping. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Zimmerman in 2009. Survivors include her four daughters Donna (Ronnie) Gruelle of Walton, Glenna (Jim) Galabraith of Walton, and Bobbie (Dave) Craddock of Union, and Linda (Lawrence) Howe of Walton; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and one on the way.

A visitation for Catherine will be held Friday, June 20, 2014 from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service 12 NOON at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will be at Hopeful Lutheran Cemetery.
