Obituary for John Patrick O'Banion

John  Patrick  O'Banion
John Patrick O’Banion, age 57, of Independence, passed away Friday, December 13, 2013, at Hospice of Cincinnati East in Cincinnati, OH. He was a retired Crewman for Cincinnati Water Works and a member of Delhi Christian Center in Cincinnati, OH. Johnny was an A.A. sponsor and was often invited to speak at events. He also enjoyed working outdoors and ministering to people in need (especially at hospitals and nursing homes). His parents, Herschel and Nancy O’Banion; and sisters, Billie Greene and Diann Dietrick preceded him in death. Survivors include his brothers, Bob O’Banion and Herschel O’Banion, Jr.; sisters, Betty O’Banion, Mischelle Hall, Kelly Collins, and Colleen Kuderer; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, December 16, 2013 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Independence Cemetery.
